Career Highlights

Katie Jacob, one of the most successful junior shooters, started shooting SCTP in 2008 at the age of 8. Four years later she made the switch from American Skeet to the international side of the sport. It was at this time that she moved to Georgia to train with Craig Hancock in order to fully pursue her dream of representing the United States on the international stage. She now lives back home in Rochester, Michigan with her family while continuing her training at the range she got her start on.

In the time since making the switch she has made a name for herself on the international stage winning gold in two junior world cups as well as a junior world championship. She managed to finish off her junior career with back to back medals on the world stage, a silver at World Championships in Lonato, Italy and a bronze at the junior world cup in Suhl, Germany.

In her time off the field Katie can be found doing all things outdoors with her dog, Autumn, and other animals and spending time with family. Katie will also be starting her second year of college at Oakland University.
